I have been interested in abiword for a while and decided that it is time
that I start helping out. The problem is that I can't seem to build
abiword.

I checked everything out with cvs, then ran make in the abi directory. The
problem is that it seems to freeze when creating ./config.status, any
suggestions as to the problem? By the way I am running RedHat Linux.

I can get it to keep going by pressing ctrl-\. But I am not sure if this
is messing something else up because eventually it ends up with other
errors.
