Well, for one thing, expat is distributed with Abi. For another
thing, expat is *really* small and *really* fast.
However, both of them support SAX. So theorietically, it should be
possible to use *exactly* the same interface for both of them, and
remove all the horrible #ifdefs in the code.
Aaron, do you know if one of the interfaces is currently using sax?
