I do not think we should need to use freetype, or any other font-
specific library, this should be the business of the PS interpreter,
e.g., ghostscript. We should really just be able to create a PS file
that says 'use this of this name and this size to print xyz', we
should not need to know whether that font is Type1, or ttf, or even
bitmapped. Surely there must be way to do this.
