Abi won't be moving to GTK2 or GNOME2 until after our 1.0 release. We will,
however, drop backwards-compatibility with GTK 1.2.x after then.
GNOME2 will be based on GTK2 and GLib2. GTK2 is very close to being released.
My guess is "probably within a month." And yes, there usually is a considerable
lag from ToolKit release to user-adoption.
