    Hi Everyone,
                It would be great to have a maintainer for the stable branch
    now.

    This person would be responsible for checking that new commits to stable
    don't cause regressions.

    Cajoling developers into fixing bad bugs.

    Cajoling developers into helping backports of features/bugfixes if needed.

    Setting new release targets and managing them.

    Any volenteers?
