I can't find a way to do this in AbiWord:
    1) Open World.abw as an AbiWord document
    2) Create new document
    3) Open World.abw as Encoded Text

At step 3 I'm asked if I want to revert to the saved
copy. If I say yes, it will be opened in the old
window in the new format, replacing it. If I say no,
the new window is left empty and I'm presented with
the old window in it's original format.

I want to edit the doc as plain text because I need
to insert language tags that aren't yet in the GUI
but I can see how the doc looks a lot better as
    AbiWord
    format.

I don't expect changes in one to update the other.
It would also be nice to be able to open a doc as
read-only in this case - do we support that yet?

Is this possible or should I file a bug or an RFE?

    Andrew Dunbar.
