AFAICT, windows uses 16x16 icons for it's menus (but I could be wrong). Scaling icons sucks, and since we have 16x16 icons available, that sounds like a sane choice to me. The 20x20 icons look bad IMO.
About our menu looking too large: compare it to IE's menus. Our menus, being very big, make abiword look like some non-native app...

Other than that, I've written a real paper using Abi on Win32! - I didn't dare to do that 2 months ago. Great work jordi, Mike & the rest of the win32 gang!
