    Sorry for replaying so late, I'm just too busy now.
    I didn't meant to flaming anyone, You surely can
    play with anything You want.
    I just thought it would be nice if some gtk-2.4
    features could be used even before AbiWord-2.4
    (like the filechooser).

    I've created small patch, that adds --enable-gtk24
    to the configure script so that abiword could
    optionally use those new features from within
    the normal branch. Would this be acceptable?

    (I really don't have time to hack on this now,
    but I hope to be able to backport the filechooser
    changes from the GTK24 branch iafter some time..)
