Hi,
attached you will find a patch which modifies abiword STABLE and adds
all the files for building autopackages.
Some notes:
autopackage/abiword-gnome.apspec.in ... for building abi with GNOME support
autopackage/abiword-gtk.apspec.in ... gtk-only version, not up to
date, FOR REFERENCE ONLY
For the dependencies enchant and gucharmap i have also created
autopackages. These are available from
http://www.abisource.org/~rob/repo/deps/ . The enchant patch is
somewhere in the abi-dev ML archives, the gucharmap modifications are
made available on request as i don't have a gnome cvs account to
create a proper patch. These dependencies are of course referenced
from the package specific skeletons in autopackage/ .
If you'd like to build the autopackage get the STABLE tree, apply the
patch, ./autogen.sh, ./configure and then run autopackage's
"makeinstaller abiword-gnome". More information on autopackage can be
found at http://www.autopackage.org .
Yes it's not very nice to have abi/autopackage/ but that's a default
for this pkg toolkit. It should be able to hack around that tough.
I don't know what would be best but either applying this patch or
creating a cvs branch which tracks STABLE would be good instead of
relying on my HD and affinity to rm -R -f only.
Uwog: you said you'd try autopackage as soon as there's an rpm
available. This is the case now ;)
Have fun,
- Rob
