Maybe this is due to peculiar behavior when deleting and then adding
characters in Hebrew text. I reported it as bug 8407 a moment ago.
I classified it as minor bug, because it can be worked around.

About crashes: so far, version 2.2.3 didn't crash on me.
However, previous versions sometimes crashed on me and sometimes I had
to start AbiWord few times before it didn't crash on startup. This
problem seems to have been related to handling of empty documents and/or
malformed ~/.AbiSuite/AbiWord.Profile.
