+ Fix #8473 "filechooser crashes when cancelled (closed via window
  manager)"
+ Fix a compiler warning
+ Remove stale #undef GTK_DISABLE_DEPRECATED

I don't really know what's going on but we don't crash any more.
Why do we need this mainloop hack in the filechooser?
