Seems reasonable. libgnomecanvas is also standalone, it does not
require the libbonobo/libgnome stack, so you may not need to worry
about special casing it.

A possibility would be to move the libgnome depends into libgoffice
and use that as a mediating layer. I'm planning to move those out
of gnumeric and into goffice plugins to kep the build nice and
clean, and avoid the 'libgoffice-gnome' approach we need in libgsf.
