I own AbiWord's Trademarks. I am not a lawyer.

I have fought with Debian Legal about Trademark issues
before. My thoughts on this issue are well-known. My
non-legal opinion is that many derivative works, like
the Maemo Word Processor, have a "fair use" right to
use the AbiWord TM.

From what I can tell, Nokia took the AbiWord 2.2.7
sources and made some modifications to it so that it
looked *sweet* on the Maemo device. I would be _proud_
to call the resulting application "AbiWord."

But if it would make Nokia's lawyers feel more
comfortable, calling it "Maemo Word Processor, based
on AbiWord" or "AbiWord for Maemo" or something
similar would be ok with me.

Thank you for the nice work. The screenshots look
really nice :) Hub and a few others are looking at
your source tree, and will probably start accepting
some changes upstream shortly.

Thanks,
Dom
