I agree in principle. However, I want to be sure this gets followed all
the way through to a fully debugged working solution. The pango-graphics
class makes CVS HEAD unusable right now. I would like to see this resolved
before introducing another "makes AbiWord unusable" core change.

Maybe Tomas could first ensure the pango-graphics class is fully debugged
before launching into this?
