Who wants to write the release notes?

Hi All!

We're nearly ready for AbiWord 2.9.1, the next development release
leading up to AbiWord 3.0. There is only 1 windows build issue to be
resolved: the WordPerfect plugin does not compile.

So that means we need some release notes! Especially with this being the
first development release of the 2.9 series that we will ship in binary
form as well (2.9.0 was a source release only).

Are there any volunteers to draft those up? We can use this thread as a
place to gather all new features that need to go in. Examples of some
release notes for a development release can be found here:

  http://abisource.com/release-notes/2.7.0.phtml

Some features that I can think of right now that we should mention:

  * Paragraph Borders and Shading support
  * OpenDocument Metadata (RDF) support
  * A Telepathy backend for our collaboration plugin
  * An experimental EPUB plugin
  * Improved localizations for many languages
  * ... ?

Please contribute! If you join on irc (#abiword on irc.gnome.org), I can
give you all help and access to our infrastructure you need.

Cheers!
