I've recently started to study Turkish and downloaded the HunSpell
dictionary for it (used by AbiWord and Mozilla, and also I converted it
to the format used by Vim), and man, that's huge! It's like ten times
the size the German, Esperanto, and Spanish dictionaries. I'm
guessing because of vowel harmony (redundant suffix definitions). Well
anyway, my point is that Turkish is probably a little too complex for
machines to parse efficiently and it might be better off to start with
something more generic.
