Subject: temp files location?

Hi all,
My first posting to the list; I hope it's an appropriate
question.
I am using AbiWord 0.7.7 for Windows at a high school site,
and we have other workstations with Office97/2000. AbiWord
reads MSWord97 files okay, but we also have security software
installed that restricts access to the hard disks. Unfortunately,
it seems like AbiWord uses the c:\ directory for temp files
when it attempts to convert MSWord files.
I'd like to change this location, but I'm using the binary
version of AbiWord, and would prefer not to use the source
for the Windows side. Is there another workaround to change
the location of temp files that AbiWord uses?
