I found the help files. In my windows setup, the new directory
structure, in part, is:
AbiSuite > AbiWord > help > EnUS / en-US / fr-FR
In the EnUS subdirectory is a file called help.html that, when you open,
says "TODO - write some help"
In the en-US subdirectory are all the help files. I haven't browsed
through them, but the index looks impressive, for a first edition of
help. But .. I haven't found how to reach it from 0.7.10
