Hi Desmond and other Abiword users, :-)
I'm Oliver Doepner and I have learned just recently how to install fonts
on an X11 system. To notify the font directory to the server the command
> xset fp+ /usr/local/AbiSuite/lib/fonts
is fine. But isn't it also nessary to issue:
xset fp rehash
to let the server recognize what happened ??

I have downloaded the source tar.gz for "Redhat and Suse" from AbiSource but do not dare to install it yet since the documentation (the README) only talks about Debian and Redhat. A "zlib" is necessary to install and I cannot find it on my Suse CDroms. Additionally I would like to use Unicode fonts (GNU unifont as well as TrueTypeFonts like Cyberbit Bitstream or at least Lucida Sans Unicode. Do you know how to install TTFs for the Linux version of Abiword ??
