Well, I'm not sure which convention should apply:-) Like Star Office,
Abiword runs on Win9x. I guess I would prefer to see it follow one
convention or the other, because I DO find the need to double click some
things, and to single click others, an irritant when using Star
Office.

If it were up for a vote, I'd vote to fix the File Open screen so that
directory selection was just a single click like the other functions.
