Hi Greg,
Thanks for your input. At present AbiWord does not have these
features. They're very easy to add although the User Interface to expose
the features to users will need some thought.
The statement "missing table featues" to me meant:
1. No ability to select copy, cut and paste columns in a table.
2. No Cell split feature.
3. No repeat row on each page feature.
Of these, 2, split cells, is easily done with the current code base.
Right now I'm concentrating on making our current feature set totally
rock solid and on getting import/export with MSWord and RTF as good as
possible.
This is completed before other features of AbiWord reach 2.0 status I'll
look into adding your 3 wishes and split cells.
In meantime feel free to add a Request For Enhancement to our bugzilla
and assign the bug to me.
That way I won't forget.
