Hi Dean,
If you already took the trouble of compiling abiword,
maybe you'll take the time to re-compile:
./configure --enable-debug
make clean
make
And then get a gdb back trace of the crash for us. As
it stands, Abi should work fine on FreeBSD. We've run
it through Valgrind and there are no really
memory/stack offenses that happen when typing, or on
startup/shutdown.
