plugin problem

maybe this is an old question, i'm new to abiword but here goes:
i using vector linux, abiword 2.0.2, have downloaded a couple of plugins from the abiword site
plugins are now in the /usr/lib/AbiWord-2.0/plugins directory, when i restart abiword and go to TOOLS->PLUGINS nothing appears in the plugin listbox. anyone no what i'm doing wrong.
EDIT: plugins are abiword-plugins-impexp-2.0.2-1RedHat9.i386.rpm and abiword-plugins-tools-2.0.2-1.RedHat9.i386.rpm
