    Sorry, this is a bug in GTK+ that won't be fixed until
    GTK+ 2.4

    The development version has this capability. Until
    then, what you probably want to do is open
    ~/.AbiSuite/AbiWord.Profile In the _custom_ section,
    add the following line: ZoomType="Width"
