I'm guessing you upgraded from an older version of Abiword (not so much
guessing as it is the only possible answer).

We highly recommend uninstalling old versions of Abiword and removing old
profile information (which is contained in the file Abiword.Profile)
    before upgrading.

Ideally this would not be necessary but we simly dont have the time and
resources to check and make sure no minor upgrade problems have been
    introduced.

To solve your problem simply delete Abiword.Profile and a new correct one
will be generated. If you can provide us the old Abiword.Profile the
developers might be able to identify the problem and prevent it from
happening with future versions of Abiword, but if you can't don't worry
    about it.

Thanks for using Abiword. Tell your friends about Abiword!

    Sincerely
