Abiword from RH6.2 through X connection

    Hi,

    I installed an AbiWord version from sources (1.0.6) on a RH6.2 distrib.
    At the start up, a message box warn me about the impossibility to load
    its fonts.

    from the FAQ, I get the info to check the content of
    /etc/fonts/fonts.conf to be sure there's something like
    /usr/share/fonts in it .... but I have even not the /etc/fonts directory.
    Is it normal ? I remember I see some fonts installation during the make
    install process...

    Any idea ...
