The goal is to run AbiWord off of a USB thumb/pen drive. So far I have UPXed and deleted files down to 6.85MB and created an installer. It currently runs off of a thumb drive just fine.
When it runs it creates the AbiWord.Profile file and two registry entries.

The profile problem I fixed with a bat file with “set USERPROFILE=../” Do you see any problems with this the one you had in your message did not work.

The registry entries deal with file extensions any tips on stopping them?

Thanks for the help
Craig
