OVR function

I'm using Abiword 2.0.7 on Win XP. The last few weeks, I have had my use
of Abiword severely limited by the fact that now, the blinking cursor is
red, and at the bottom toolbar, OVR is indicated. In MS Word, you can
just click on it and it will go away or come back. I checked in the
Edit and Format menus. How do I change this? Obviously, I did something
to turn it on, b/c it was never like this before. I just wanna get
Abiword back to normal. Thanks.

Hey you guys do have a great product here. The only time I've had to use
MS Word in the last few months was when I needed to edit an application
and then send it back--that was pretty complicated formating. But you
guys have really enabled me to convert to Linux with confidence (I
wouldn't do it if I didn't have the software I like--you guys, Firefox
and Thunderbird).
