    I've installed only the default plug-ins, which do not include the WP
    importer. Isn't AbiWord normally able to open ascii files? (In fact, it
    opens them fine--it's just when they include ascii symbols inserted from a
    table of additional characters). Sorry if I'm explaining this badly.
