Re: Abiword Crashes opening wpd files on Suse 9.1

My last post was wrong --this is what I get when trying to install the
plugin tools and wpd import export plugin. This is even after
installing apt, apt-libs, and lua and running apt-get update, apt-get
upgrade, and apt-get install ulb gnome. I was hoping it would find
the failed dependencies, but apparently it did not.

linux:/home/user # rpm -i
abiword-plugins-tools-2.1.99-100.SuSE.91.ulb.1.i586.rpm
warning: abiword-plugins-tools-2.1.99-100.SuSE.91.ulb.1.i586.rpm: V3
DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID f071d27d
error: Failed dependencies:
        libots-1.so.0 is needed by
abiword-plugins-tools-2.1.99-100.SuSE.91.ulb.1
linux:/home/csupport # rpm -i
abiword-plugins-impexp-2.1.99-100.SuSE.91.ulb.1.i586.rpm
warning: abiword-plugins-impexp-2.1.99-100.SuSE.91.ulb.1.i586.rpm: V3
DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID f071d27d
error: Failed dependencies:
        libgnomedb-2.so.1 is needed by
abiword-plugins-impexp-2.1.99-100.SuSE.91.ulb.1

This is the reason I installed the 2.0.7 in the first place...because
the newer versions gave me more failed dependencies and after finding
an rpm from fedora core or mandrake that fixes one failed dependency
it would only introduce two more. So I would get caught in the never
ending chain of installing failed dependency after failed dependency.

Thanks,

Curtis
