Abiword unstable

I had a previous version of Abiword , which I have dropped . I have
found a newer one 2.2.5 under rpm format and have installed it on my MDK
10.0 .
During the installation, I have had to add libwv , but there also no
problem.

I have converted the english to french with a little command found in a
local chat :

ln -s fr-FR.strings
/usr/share/AbiSuite-2.2/AbiWord/strings/fr-BE.strings

BUT :
opening Abiword and with the command "open" a file, AbiWord simply stops
!
