Under FC1, abiword wouldn't launch from its icon in a drawer on the
panel. I did yum remove abiword, then yum install abiword, and it fixed
it. Then I went to the abiword site, downloaded
abiword-2.2.7-1.fc1.i386.rpm, and did rpm -Uvh on it. All appeared to go
normally, but now it won't launch again.
Under Properties for the launcher, the command shown is simply abiword. So
I tried that on the command line, this way :
=====
[btth@localhost btth]$ abiword &
[1] 6111
bash: abiword: command not found
[1]+ Exit 127 abiword
[btth@localhost btth]$
=====
Seems to me the obvious thing is to try another version of the command;
but the file searcher off the Main Menu in FC1 shows me 26 entries for
abiword. Before I start trying to make up commands like "/usr/bin/abiword"
and "/home/btth/mail/abiword" [!], can somebody tell me the right one?
