on second thought

Hi again,

On second thought, I still think AbiWord has some quirky elements, like
having to save a doc just before closing it, even though you've saved it
a dozen + times already. There is an automatic 'save' as you type isn't
there? Think so. Anyway, I just closed a document in AbiWord and
didn't save it AGAIN because it looked all disconnected (pieces of text
were strewn all over doc in random order - don't know what happened).
So, I closed it without saving it AGAIN because I thought it would save
the last saved version, which it didn't because when I went to open it
later, all that was there was a big white BLANK page. Nice.

Thank goodness, the doc wasn't very important, and I had printed it out
before that crappy thing happened. Sorry I don't want to hurt anyone's
feelings, but AbiWord does not compare in functionality to MS Word, but
it is cheaper, a whole lot cheaper.
