Mac users have very high standards and the Mac developers are very busy so
sometimes there are delays on Mac binaries or the Mac skips a release to
give the developers time to catch up due to the extra work involved.

Maybe. It is mostly a case of wait and see. The Mac developers do seem
to manage to get a build out shortly after the Unix platforms with most
releases.
You never know, the Mac developers may send a message shortly to say the
binary is on the way as soon as they have a chance.

If you are a Mac user and you have to ask I wouldn't recommend it, best to
wait.
