Usually, nothing is required.
Sometimes init.d does all that's needed, but every now and again, a
complete reboot seems to just 'seat' things in better.
Especially after a large and varied update/upgrade.
But this is heresy, and we could get excommunicated if word ever got
out, so keep it quiet.
