There is only minimal documentation on these options, unfortunately. I
should have documented them better when I added the feature, but
they're really meant to be a power-user feature that people only learn
about if they need to do something "unusual".

However, what you reported wasn't "unusual". It was a bug that I have
already fixed, and should be released in AbiWord 2.4.6, due out in a
day or two.

In case you didn't know, I am wvWare's maintainer too. For what it's
worth, "deprecated" doesn't mean "gone", it just means that if things
break, I probably won't fix them.
