I'm working on entirely different boxes now, so that old fix can't be causing
the current problem. I think I should experiment with different install
procedures. Usually I download the latest version, remove the previous
version with the uninstall utilities for the program, tools, and plugins.
Then I do a sweep of the registry files and finally install the new version
with all tools and plugins. Any suggestions about a different procedure? Are
footnotes affected by any tool/plugin files that could be disabled?
