Well, we don't support embedded OLE objects like wordart, excel sheets,
or the shapes you can add in Word. If you can't get images in the docx
file type, please try just opening them, and in either case, please put
the results on http://bugzilla.abisource.com as it would seem that
images are not supported properly yet in the docx import.
With doc, if you put an image (not a different object) in, it should
export. If that isn't working, please file another bug with a sample
doc so we can figure it out.
