I am using .odt file format. The documents are a mix of English-Hungarian--translations. The operating system, I am using is Linux. I enter the accented letters by changing the keyboard from English to Hungarian and vice-versa.
Often the ending words or letters of the English text is also disappearing. But not always. Weird.
Here are some samples:
I am ubiquitous because I am re

and finally it will not look like a nos

I get inspiration from all sorts of genres, be it film, sculpture or even d
(here only the letter "d" has remained, I don't even remember what came after.)

So as you see the endings keep disappearing. Sometimes just a one or two letters, other times entire words.
Here the hungarian examples, when the accented letters disappear.
Krisztus-i univerzalit(á).st
Senki nem (é).rti
sz(ö).vets(é).gi
t(ö).rt(é).nelme
Sz(ó).val
There are tons of examples like this.
