Your October 27 release notes for v2.8.0 does not show a problem with
Smart Quotes. A CNet reviewer of v2.8.1 has problems with quotation
marks: "Cons: it won't keep quotation marks on the left margin. keep
having to replace them." The solution may be somewhere here.
