I need help manipulating simple data as follows

Hello I have AbiWord 2.6.4. and need a simple tutorial on how to import a
list of
stocks (unfortunately with some unneeded info attached) that I copied from
the internet
and pasted into a file as a Wordpad Text and/or RichText formatvinformation

I then will need to remove unneeded information, put the remaining useful
data (Stock Symbols)
in a column/row format (a table?), then add my own delimeters (mostly
BRACKETS and AND/OR
CONDITIONAL DELIMETERS) before and after the useful Stock Symbol Data.

I then may need to SORT the Stock Symbol data and paste it into my Scan
Program.

So, basically in need to clean up Cut/Pasted Stock Symbol info, tidy it up
with my
delimiters, sort it if possible and insert it (as text, not RTF) into a Scan
Program.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.........Follows is a sample of the Raw
Data:
