Hi Joseph,
I don't believe there has been much work on docbook support within
abiword for several years. We support a reasonable number of docbook
features like tables, footnotes as well as well as all the basics eg
fonts, indents hyperlinks etc.
There hasn't been a lot of demand for the filter though.
