Abiword 0.7.4 on Solaris 2.7

Hello,
I receive two seperate error messages when tryin to run Abiword 0.7.4
on Sparc/Solaris 2.7. On one machine:

Gdk-ERROR **: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
serial 1151 error_code 8 request_code 72 minor_code 0

on the other:

Gdk-WARNING **: shmat failed!
Gdk-ERROR **: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
serial 1161 error_code 8 request_code 130 minor_code 3
Gdk-ERROR **: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
serial 1162 error_code 8 request_code 130 minor_code 3

The "shmat" message is repeade several dozen times.

Any ideas on how to fix this? I'd appreciate email sine I
am not subscribed to this list.
