I always find those "Created with" comments silly. If I was going to be
honest, for some of my pages I'd have to write something like "I originally
wrote this in Word, re-saved it as .txt to get rid of the so-called
"smart-quotes", fiddled with it in Netscape Composer, then later used
gnotepad+ to rewrite some of the yucky HTML" But why would anybody want to
know this?
On the subject of the "save as html" option, _please_ keep it simple.
After years of producing weird HTML with save options and WYSIWYdon'tG
editors, I just want something which will make a reasonable guess at
headings, put in the bold and italic tags, center where necessary, and
maybe even make a stab at tables and lists. If I want anything more
flashy, I'll write the HTML myself. Abiword produces much better HTML than
Word, but it still does strange and unnecessary things, particularly with
font sizes.
