AbiWord for Windows and Eastern European languages

Hello,

I've downloaded AbiWord for Windows, and it doesn't seem to work correctly
with Czech characters. They are stored in additional code pages (called
"scripts") of standard fonts (Times New Roman, Arial, etc. AbiWord doesn't
care about this (I've looked into saved XML files too), so it is completely
unusable for me, because I'm Czech.

Have I missed something?
