The core of glib is unlikely to be impacted by 9x vs nt/xp
differences. Some of the nice new utf-8 aware filename routines (eg
g_open) may need some consideration, but the segments of glib that
libgsf or Martin are likely to use will be safe.
gtk+/cairo is of course a completely different story, but those are
not on required.
