I love the styles dialog (it is so much nicer that the current version
that clones the dialog from the other wordprocessor), but I personally
much prefer to see the font name in the font combo of the toolbar.

I think we can, and possibly even without shorcuts. I think these are
not used that often for the lack of buttons to impact significantly on
the user's efficiency; if they were, they would have kbd shortcuts already.

I would agree. I might also argue the same for the text colour button
and the spellchecker; on the other hand, I would like to keep the
highlight button, as I use that often, probably most often of all the TB
buttons, after the style combo.
