    ('binary' encoding is not supported, stored as-is) Thank you, Alan and Kenneth! I did not expect such prompt and helpful answers :) OTOH, I have not been using Linux for a long time :D

    As for Windows NT/2K/XP, I thought Abiword should not have any problem running on those platforms? I mean, the 9x family is being slowly phased out, so I assume no 9x (and WinME) specific libraries are used.

    Can't wait to test out the plug-ins :)
