Thanks to Jeremy, an unofficial non-bidirectional build of 1.0.4 for Win32 is now
available at Jeremy's site (above) and my site (also above). I recommend it.
The builds for 1.0.2 and CVS-STABLE non-bidi have been removed from my site.
If you use the AbiPaint plugin, you will need to download the non-bidi version from
Jeremy's site.
The bug still occurs in the pre-release Win32 build of 1.0.5. Noted in Bugzilla:
