It means that no backends are installed. This is
usually either:

1) A packaging mistake
2) The user or distro didn't install any backends
because they package the backends separately.

You can do something like:

ls -l /usr/lib/enchant/

to see if anything is installed. You probably just
need to 'rpm -Uvh enchant-aspell.rpm' or something.
